Just a nerd who loves to read and write about the human condition—with a side of whimsy and a dollop of romance.

I'm currently working on four novels (YA Romance, NA Romance, Sci-Fi Romance, and Fantasy Romance) with one more (Paranormal Romance) on the way. It has been a long-time dream of mine to finish a book in each of these genres.

Lately, I've been focusing on Gilded Cage the most since that's where my head space seems to be. This novel was inspired by one of my favorite book reviewers on YouTube. She said there was nothing wrong with overly done tropes in writing as long as they were done well. I've read enough YA and NA romances in my time to be familiar with quite a few of those tropes, so I decided to stick as many of them as I possibly could in this fun campy train wreck of a romance. There's also a running theme throughout about privilege and social injustices. The "Occupy Wall Street" movement was also a big source of inspiration for me.
