May, 2002: I'm a new, excited author, standing on the shoulders of giants. I'm also 46, live in Southern California, and am honored to be part of the "fanfiction" world of LOTR. How wonderful to connect with other fans of this amazing tale. I think I've read to shreds and replaced the whole trilogy three or four times already.
