ANNOUNCEMENT:

I will no longer be posting to my stories on FictionPress. I have been plagiarized, several of my novels and poems claimed as the productions of another writer. I have been in contact with the publishers, and believe the problem will be resolved, but I have no wish to help someone else seem talented at my expense.

For those who have regularly read and reviewed my stories, I am deeply sorry. I regret that I have been forced to this course of action, but I do not think that any other way would suffice.

You may contact me, if you have questions about this, at limyaael@.

01/06/04: The three novels Royalty of Wind, and Fire, and Clay, The Light, and the Dark, and the Uninterested, and War of Dragons, and Kings, and Everybody Else have been removed from the site. If you wish to know what happened to them, please e-mail me.

For people who haven't read any of my stories:

I will be leaving the older stories up for the moment. If you need suggestions about where to start reading:

Arcadian Novels

-Harper of Glory Forerunning and More Than Glory Abounds are high fantasy novels. Lots of politicking, bloodthirst, and high drama. More Than Glory is a sequel to Harper.

-Blood and Laughter can mostly stand alone. It's a very dark fantasy of horror, torture, and love between a brother and sister in all ways possible.

-Made Glorious Summer concerns politics and heroics. Unfortunately, its sequel, An Autumn It Was, and the other novel set in Arcadia, Starchaser, will not be updated again.

Faean Novels:

-Golden Heresy stands first chronologically, and may provide a good entrance into the world for you. Told through diary entries, as well as the history of a fanatical priestess and the mouthing of a pious one, it reflects a sharper view of Faean than some of the others.

-Splendor's Shadow follows the Orlathian trilogy that used to be on this site, and contains spoilers for it. About the mysterious power known as Shadow, and why it might not be the best idea to have your monarch raised by wolves.

-Prophecy of Four Royals With One Mistake is the first book of the Pretentious Pentad, and has four novels following it. It does contain spoilers for Splendor's Shadow, and you'll probably want to read that one first.

-Queen At Any Moment is another stand-alone, far and away the first chronologically. However, you might want to read Splendor's Shadow either just before or just after it to get a good idea of what Shadow was and is.

Thank you again to all the people who have reviewed. I don't intend to abandon FictionPress in the matter of reading and reviewing, and will most likely be around reading.

Farewell wherever you fare!

-Limyaael.
