Author has written 4 stories for General, Life, Fantasy, and Friendship.

It feels like eons since I've last been on this website. my writing efforts have mostly been focused on fanfiction writings for the past year or two. I've fiinshed two stories on Fanfiction, but nothing on here that was meant to be a novel-size story. Secrets of the Sea has been on hiatus for quite some time, and I'm not really sure what I'm going to do with it, to be quite frank. I guess we shall see in time, eh?

As for information on me, my name is Riley Barton, and I am a seventeen-year-old girl -a junior in high school. I am a citizen of both Australia and the United States, and when I get older I hope to go home to California or live in London, England, my favourite place outside of my hometown in CA. Otherwise, I am a gigantic movie buff and I enjoy writing a lot, obviously. My original writing skills have been failing for a few years, but I'm hoping to get some inspiration for my own stories in the near future.

For anyone stopping by, you are welcome to read my stuff, but I'm warning you that none of it is at all new, and does not show my skills as a writer. I have improved greatly since those years, so do not base your opinion of me based on them. If you are still interested, feel free to browse around. I am welcome to any form of criticism you may have for me, as long as you do not openly flame me for the heck of it. Cheers!

Poems:
Long Good-Bye: A poem I wrote in my English class. The Girl Nobody Knew: It was a poem I guess you could say I felt compelled to write. It kind of describes myself (only I'm not popular) ;)

Stories:
Where The Path Leads You:A story I wrote in 9th grade for me English class. Not my best work. I'm now a junior in high school and my writing has greatly improved. (I should hope.) Secrets of the Sea: Royce Glenwood had never given much thought about pirates. That is, until she found out about a secret that had been kept hidden from her for years, and that the rogues of the sea seem to be the only ones with answers. *On Temporary Hiatus*
