After a very long hiatus from writing original fiction, I've now returned to writing it thanks to the support I received from a late family friend. It was with her support that I realized how much I missed writing and now that she's gone, I can't think of a better way of remembering her than to continue what I love doing: writing.

Last November (2009), I participated in NaNoWriMo, as I have for many years. It was last year however, with some amazing new friends, that I managed to complete my first novel. Granted, it is still in dire need of editing, but I've posted the first two chapters and I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed writing them. The novel Dark Blood is in fact, six chapters from completion, so updates will be quick to come by. It is also my absolute favourite thing to write.
