![]() Author has written 126 stories for General, Historical, General, Western, War, Love, Politics, Essay, Fantasy, Life, School, Religion, Spiritual, Romance, Family, Supernatural, and Young Adult. About 99 percent of what's posted here is ignorant, childish, and otherwise not very good. But I am trying to be more humble, so here it stays, to shame me. I don't think I'll ever understand why Dearly Beloved is so popular. I am female (I hope that would be obvious, given the pen-name), a college student, Christian without any of those convenient sectarian/political labels to help people generalize, wavering between a-politicism and libertarianism (the former doesn't mean that I don't care so much as the solutions to the world's problems cannot necessarily be resolved politically--but I do care deeply about non-political solutions that depend more on individual choices and strength), Russophilic, a fan of C.S. Lewis, Leo Tolstoy, Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, Orson Scott Card, Philip K Dick, and Ray Bradbury. And so far as non-authoring mortalsgo, my many loved ones, both family and friends (and my belovedIvan, who is both) the brave people of Somaliland, Ahmed Shah Massoud, and Akhenaten. Then there's the Prophet Enoch--who, while not being technically mortal and technically an author, has influenced both my spiritual perceptions and fictional creativity greatly with his book. And of course, music...ummm...Delta S, VNV Nation, Imperative Reaction, Beethoven and Death Cab for Cutie come to mind. Non-writing time is usually spent reading, eating, running, sleeping or otherwise having some sort of harmless fun. I've been having recurrent feelings of regret for not being more..er...apolitically active; hopefully one of the infinite current crises will provoke me to do something more than write irate poetry for this site.. There are many stories on here I would like to finish, especially those dealing with the nephilim. Thank you to all reviewers! I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish things that people often say about Him: 'I'm ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don't accept His claim to be God.' That is one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of thing Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would rather be a lunatic-on a level with the man who says he is a poached egg-or else a madman or something worse. You can shut Him up for a fool, you can spit at Him and kill Him as a demon; or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God...But let us not come with any patronising nonsense about His being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to. -C.S.
