Author has written 39 stories for General, Fantasy, Life, Fantasy, and Historical. Maelan is a doctoral student of medieval history, and writes fantasy when she has time (or doesn't feel like writing academics). She enjoys martial pursuits and roleplaying games, and plays the harp. These things are probably interconnected somehow. Worth reading (i.e. pieces she's not afraid to own up to): All other stories are mostly here as archival pieces, the sole remaining copies of Maelan's very early work, but it must be said that they are mostly the product of teenage angst.
