Author has written 7 stories for Song, General, and Haiku.
My RL name is Kristina (a child of the eighties and proud of it! ^_^) and I am a college student who loves to write, spend time on the computer, read, travel, hang out with friends and listen to music (especially Savage Garden, U2, Creed, and Christian singers Michael W. Smith and Steven Curtis Chapman)). I have had some of my original poetry published on 4 different occasions. I should also note that I am owned by a Siamese cat named Sushi. He told me I had to put that up here too. ;)

Most of my writing I do is Star Wars fanfic or original Poety (or a combo of the two). If my alias doesn't give it away, I'll tell you one thing. I LOVE BRIA. She is without a doubt, one of the greatest characters to come out of the Star Wars Extended Universe. She is so completely real, someone who is actually human and makes mistakes, she's not a perfect princess/Queen or an honorable Jedi (not that I have qualms with either type of character, I do like them too ;)) ...I took to her immediately. I love writing about her. My other favorite SW characters are (surprise suprise) Han Solo, Lando Calrissian (who I'll defend just as much as I defend Bria), and R2 D2. I have also recently added my first Final Destination fanfic, and do plan to write in that fandom as time allows.

Just a little note, Letters that Will Never Be Read, listed in my favorite stories, is a round robin I have participated in on the Jedi Council at tf.n. Clarus started it, and I added to it, as have many others. Be sure to check it out. :)

We don't read and write poetry because it's cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for. ~ John Keating [Robin Williams, "Dead Poets Society"

Originality is nothing but judicious imitation. The most original writers borrowed from one another. The instruction we find in books is like fire. We fetch it from our neighbor's, kindle it at home, communicate it to others, and it becomes the property of all. ~ Voltaire

To be united is a great thing; but to respect differences maybe even a greater thing. ~Bono, U2

The symbol of your country cannot just be a flag. The symbol also has to be one of its citizens exercising his right to burn that flag in protest. Now show me that, defend that, celebrate that in your classrooms. Then you can stand up and sing about the land of the free. ~ President Andrew Shepherd, "The American President"

It is possible to believe that all the past is but the beginning, and that all that is and has been is but the twilight of dawn. It is possible to believe that all the human mind has ever acomplished is but the dream before the awakening. ~ H.G. Wells

The world is full of wonders when you are a child. But sometimes, just sometimes, even a grown-up can meet with one. ~ Narrator, Star Wars: Rogue Squadron: The Phantom Affair #1

Mousetrap. I wanted to play Mousetrap. You roll the dice, you move your mice. Nobody get's hurt. ~ Bob the Tomato in Veggie Tales, The Toy that Saved Christmas

I have loved the stars too fondly, to be fearful of the night. ~ Della Reese

You may say that I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. ~ John Lennon

Remember, every minute spent angry is sixty seconds of happiness wasted ~???

P.S. If you can't tell, I like quotes. ;) Voltaire's quote is my excuse for fanfiction, heh!
