I have succumbed to the call...I've gotten myself an account at fanfiction.net. The world's coming to an end.

To some authors in the Lord of the Rings, Yu-Gi-Oh, Inuyasha, and Slayers section, my name will probably ring a bell. Yes, I am that girl who writes the really long reviews yammering about your great fics and/or picking out grammar mistakes that you had hoped the masses would completely miss. And now that I have an account...MWHAHAHAHA!! (This is what happens when a soon-to-be college student drinks hot cocoa at midnight...)

Well, actually, if you want me to be completely honest, I'm here because I'm trying to plug my own site. I figure, if people like my fics, they could go to my site (above) and find more of the similar stuff. I will update my site before this account, if you want to know.^_^

Okay, now I'll be serious. The *real* reason I've finally decided to join this little community was because I had, at long last, finished a fic for a series people actually know about! You see, the fanfiction I usually write is for a series so obscure, even die-hard fans of anime/manga don't know what I'm talking about. Hence, not too many people read my work, even when they're kind enough to visit my site.^^;;; But since I *do* write fanfics for other, well-known series (they just tend to go unfinished...-_-;), I've decided to post them in the hopes that they will be liked, which might encourage the readers (that's you) to go click on the above link and read my works for more the more obscure series.

...Okay, so I am plugging my site. Oh well. And this is a really long bio. Oh well to that too. You don't have to read it if you don't want to.^_^

Despite how I may seem up there, I'm neither outgoing nor insane. (The second one can be contested...) I'm actually quite shy, I don't like to offend people, and I'm crazy about writing, which of course means I'm also crazy about reading.^_^ I love fanfiction, but I set very high standards for both myself and the stories I look for. You can go to my site and click on the links page to see the caliber of stories I enjoy. By no means do I place myself among those talented individuals, I merely strive to reach them.^_^

As to what sort of fics I write... Well, I'm not a big fan of romances; I tend to think most of them are contrived and a bit silly. (That is not to say I'm not a romantic, however.^_^) To me, one of the most important and lasting bonds in life is true friendship, as lame as that might sound to some of you. The dynamics of a group of people who learn to trust and help each other absolutely fascinates me, so my stories tend to veer toward that. I'm also pretty serious (angsty), and if I do write humor, it usually depends on character interaction, and tries to make you smile instead of collapsing in laughter. Oh, and I'm sort of a slow updater. If by any chance you really like my stuff...I apologize beforehand.^_^;;;
