I'm a senior English major with a writing concentration. I hope to start sending my poems out to be published sometime in the near future. I'm very concerned about improving my writing. I read alot of poets and alot of poetry handbooks and participate in the literary journal and magazine on campus.

My favorite poets--and greatest influences are Anne Sexton and Margaret Atwood. I've finished my writing concentration at school--which only means I've had three poetry workshop classes.

I find that I can post some things on this site that I maybe would feel too self-conscious to bring to a class or workshop. Most of my first drafts are published here. If you'd like to keep up with revised drafts, you can visit my blog--linked above.
