I'm in college, and an aspiring actress and writer. I'm a Theater-English-double-major-with-a-Dance-minor. *breathes* Yup. Ladeeda!
I absolutely LOVE fantasy! Harry Potter, Tamora Pierce, Patricia C. Wreede... It goes on and on. I also like others, but rarely non-fiction! ;) My fav Harry Potter is, of course, HP4. My fav Tammy P. series is ... well, I like the Song of the Lioness alot, but also The Immortals...
My favorite movies are ... too many to name. Mostly, I like anything, any kind, 'cept horror. Sadly, I was slightly disappointed in the HP SS movie. They left out several of my favorite parts! (Hagrid actually YELLING at the Dursleys; the potions on the way to get the Sorceror's Stone...) Don't get me wrong; I liked it a lot. I skipped school to see it the first day, first showing!!! I was just a bit sad... However, the second and third HP movies were just ... well, they just blew me away! I loved them!!!! I could go on for hours about how much I loved them! (Well, maybe not THAT long, but you get the gist...) Unfortunately, I haven't seen the entire fourth movie yet--long story.
I love the Tamora Pierce and Harry Potter love/hate stories (where two people are fighting, and suddenly start kissing) It's so funny! "Hate is the closest thing to love." -My mum... ahem... I especially like Hermione/Draco romances...We all know, though, that it'll be Ron who gets the girl! ;) I really like humors... They are a wonderful pick-me-up on a bad day! So if you know of any good ones, please be so kind as to tell me of them!
I write HP fanfic, and poetry originals, original short-stories, original myths, original very long stories, and personal essays. I'm also working on a hugely long poem of EpicLength (not really, but we're talking definitely several pages) so that'll be interesting when I'm done. It's in progress, but it is still posted, so cheer me on!Writing is great fun!
Also, please go read Footprints on the Moon by Chavi. It's very good! (So is her Fighting with Words: The Last Resort... And her new one, Brilliance. Very very good.) Read Awakening of a Royal and you will never go wrong, and read The Past Didn't Go Anywhere and you'll have fun for hours. And Points of No Return. They're all wonderful!
I also have this ... obsession with Alan Rickman. Extremely attractive, and a very versatile actor. I really respect him. However, regarding his looks, yummm. As my friend put it, "Very very very very very (and a few more of those) nice."
If you want to IM me, feel free to IM or email me; I love getting them! Makes my day! Truly! Cheers!
