Author has written 15 stories for General, Friendship, Song, Life, and Love.

I've cleared my entire original bio, which had been up here since I first joined. I'm hoping to work on a fresher start, though in the spirit of my knack for saving things, I'll be keeping all of my older works up for viewing. Few people seem to come through here anymore, and those that do hardly say hello; I attribute it to the fact that I don't post much of anything I write anymore. Thus I'm hoping to resolve that.

I am a poet by trade, though I also play random instruments, so some of that poetry can seem into a song form. Regardless, my main goal through poetry is not to fully connect with my reader. Too many writers try to do that, and too many writers fail. For me, a work is not successful if it connects the writer to the reader- the work then becomes forgotten, and you focus more on what the other person must have been feeling to have written it. Not to say that this is a bad tactic, but it's far too overused. I prefer to simply allow the reader to connect with the work itself; I don't claim to do anything fancy or technical. I simply try to write things that I hope will make you, the reader, think about what you're reading, rather than about what I was thinking.

Thinking about thinking leads to nowhere. Understanding your thoughts can take you anywhere.

Indirectly Indirect
Meant to make the reader's mind work more slowly as it goes over the words. I wanted something that one couldn't zip through and feel confident in understanding. Thoughts?
