My name, obviously, is Adam J. Manley. I am 18 years old, a Senior in high school (Go me!). And might I say that, no matter what you say, Senioritis is a LOT stronger than the average student's desire to skip.

Raised in a family of writers, musicians, artists, and drama kings/queens who never found their calling in the acting field, I have always had a wonderful imagination. Unfortunately, this has resulted in my spending the better part of my life to date daydreaming rather than living. I like to think, after the death of my grandfather, the catastrophe of 9/11, and the death of my aunt (all of which occurring almost within the same year), that I am improving on this field. I do, however, still have a long way to go.

In addition to the rants and visions I have posted on this site, I am working on two books: one a fantasy/science fiction book with religious and political undertones; the other a more realistic story based on "The Mind's Eye: The Self-Devised Trap." Finally putting my daydreams down into story form is helping me gain control of my life, as my deepest emotions are slowly revealing themselves to me on each page.

I encourage anyone who reads this not to put anything off. Life and death are unpredictable. Waiting brings only pain. If you have a chance, take it. Because things cannot remain the same, even if you want them to do so. Things will always change, and only you can make them change for the better.
