I want to thank my valued readers and make you aware that I am not longer publishing on FictionPress. Everything here will remain archived here, but Apantomancy, Lacrimor, and the whole of The Dark Ring are on Wattpad, along with my complete novella Callista, which was long-listed for the 2018 Wattys and its companion novella Layla. December 09, 2014 - Lacrimor

Lacrimor is a companion piece to Apantomancy. It is not intended to be a sequel, or a prequel, but you can take it for either if you so choose. This was not something I planned to write, but once again, the darkness wouldn't leave me alone. Although I did my best to capture the feeling of the original piece, it had been five year since I wrote Apantomancy, and my style has evolved. I think you will see that in Lacrimor. Regardless, I hope fans of Apantomancy as well as first time readers will enjoy the short story!

Apantomancy won a Fiction Press Supernatural Stories Season Two award in the Best One Shot category! Thank you so much, I am so very honored!

Over all, I am very happy with the feedback that Apantomancy has received. I appreciate so much every comment and know what works and what doesn't work. I hope to be able to attempt another story in the same genre soon. I am working hard to get back into writing original fiction, so thank you for your support!
