Hey fellow readers/writers! I am a student attending CSU, attempting to get a bachelor's degree in English. If you care to know, my aspirations in life is to become a poor, starving author...from what I hear, that isn't hard to achieve *sigh* I am working on several short story and novel projects--which I hope to start submitting to literary magazines and publication houses soon.

OTHER NEWS: White China, my short story project, is in the process of being completly revised. I expect, once I'm done, it will stand at around 50 pages...more than twice as long as its predecessor. Please stay tuned...it will be up soon in a set of installments.*

To those of you still with me, I would like to present a shameless plug of my lifeline novel:
"Le Chapelet Emperle’." I've been drafting this book for months...and I'm very excited to say I've finally got something to show for it :).

This is my Prologue:

What you hold in your hands is more than a simple story. It is life. My life to be exact. As I write these words, my hand travels to my crucifix. Everything important and dear to me revolves around this simple beaded rosary, as it is the only remaining remnant I have of the one I love. Back then, when I was young, we didn’t have photographs. And only rich noblemen—and perhaps a few well off bourgeois—could afford to have a portrait done.

But, in truth, I don’t need a picture to remind me of what I already know. Her face—her beauty—is still alive through my thoughts. My mind contains all the memories I’ll ever need, which is sadly a curse as well as a blessing.

I am a hunter. A Vampire hunter to be more precise. As an old friend once told me, my code of honor is this: To stamp out cruelty and evil with the powers I’ve been bestowed with, until the day God so chooses to snuff out my life. But I wasn’t always this way. Once, I was cruel, heartless, and cold—growing up without innocence and love. This is my story—my life. Of how the hunted became the hunter...
