5/17/12: A word to you would-be-plagiarizers. Yes, YOU who are about to copy my story and paste it on some other site with some horrible addition like Justin Bieber. You are about to steal. Like, the crime of stealing. It's illegal. It's ridiculous. If you enjoy writing, great! But enjoy writing your OWN stories, not just stealing other people's. If you can't think of any of your own ideas, fine, take up another hobby. But don't steal. As an English teacher, I can tell you that if one of my students copied even the word order of a source, even if they changed all the words, but kept their replacements in the same order, they would fail for plagiarism. Don't be a failure. Create your own stories.

5/13/12: I don't know if there's some kind of phishing scheme going on, but I DO NOT want to sell the rights to my stories. Ridiculous. If I get any more emails about it, I'll know it's a scheme because they didn't read this. In other news, thanks to all of you who are still plodding along through my stories and sending me sweet notes and reviews! I still love writing and FictionPress, but can't post anything right now. Thanks for reading, though!

The Difference Between You and Me: Finished! There's a new author's note at the end dealing with some problems. I'm considering uploading revised chapters.

Pending projects: As far as I know, I'm taking a leave of absence from Fiction Press, but if I have the opportunity, I will post! There's a few possibilities, I'll keep you updated.

I adore your comments and thoughts. I love reading your ideas. Sometimes you don't always agree with me, that's fine. I don't think I've ever yelled at anyone for not liking my stuff. I'm writing because it relaxes me, not because I think mystical writing genies are going to submit my work to publishers. So writing, for me, is really the great fun. Posting a story keeps me accountable and makes me finish it. I usually post something after I've been working on it awhile and want to get it done. Reviews are icing. I love getting them, they make laugh most of the time because you all have a wonderful sense of humour. So, just wanted to give a lengthy thanks to those of you that take time to review. You make my day!
