Author has written 6 stories for Fantasy, General, and Life. I wish to write stories that I want to read. When I worry about whether other people will like my work, I always end up with writer’s block -_-. Anyhow, I have made it a personal goal to try and create stories that I can enjoy, and maybe some of you will enjoy them too. _ My favorite author is—and will likely always be—Terry Pratchett. I love how his Discworld series is both full of humor and insight. I have reread many of his books dozens of times, and I still manage to find something new to appreciate in them every time. I also love the novel "A Wizard of Earthsea" by Ursula K. Le Guin. The way this book is written is just beautiful. It really is poetic. Other books I keep revisiting include Garth Nix's "Sabriel", Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes stories, and "A Year Down Yonder" by Richard Peck. Well, I could go on forever about all the books I like, but I probably shouldn't. . A lot of the stories I like are fantasy, but I have also read many great non-fantasy stories. My definition of a truly good book is one that I can read over and over again. Oh, and the really old stories I have here are embarrassing, but I am choosing not to remove them because they remind me of where I started. But, er, they're not very good! Please read the new ones. I meant to post this note sooner but I've been totally swamped. On the other hand, I think taking some time away from the story may help me figure out the problem I've been having. Happy holidays!] With the rising frequency of attacks by the magic-touched and inexplicable bouts of madness going around, it’s no wonder that people are seeing ill omens around every corner. The mages have their hands full trying to keep the kingdom together, and some have just stopped trying. To top it all off, the heirloom sword of the king has been stolen. Despite the protests of his city’s master mage, Kavin, a young healer, sets out to answer a call for help. However, his hopes for a simple journey don’t look like they’re going to be answered. His troubles begin with a rude traveler and do not end with the appearance of a sinister, three-eyed man.
