Author has written 3 stories for Fantasy, Sci-Fi, and Horror.

Australian-based aspiring novelist.

I am a physics student and have previously studied Journalism, Asian Studies, Japanese and Spanish. I love travelling, hiking, and mountain climbing. I am a bit of Weeb, but to balance it out, I'm also a bit of a Hispanophile. For some reason there's no pop culture word for the latter. I've traveled extensively in South America from Tierra del Fuego and Patagonia to Colombia; likewise I've backpacked through Southeast Asia, as every Australia traveler must as a rite of passage. I have also, naturally, made the pilgrimage to Akihabara that all Weebs must. I'm mainly a strat gamer (grew up on StarCraft, AoE, and Total War), but I do love me some Zelda. Breath of the Wild takes my breath away.

Interested in a wide variety of genres including fantasy, sci-fi, horror, Western, historical fiction and literary fiction.

I'm a fan of Ernest Hemingway, JRR Tolkien, Tom Wolfe, Stephen King, Shirley Jackson, George RR Martin, Robert Heinlein, Jack Kerouac, Donna Tartt, Cormac McCarthy and plenty of others. My favourite anime series are Death Parade, Madoka Magica, Made in Abyss, Evangelion, and Cowboy Bebop. My favourite films are Doctor Strangelove, Apocalypse Now, Pan's Labyrinth, Akira, The Shining, The Orphanage, The Exorcist, and Spirited Away.

Oh, and music? I'm an omnivore. I love romantic and neo-romantic music - especially Chopin, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, Stravinsky, Prokofiev and Shostakovich. More recently I love me anything from the year 1967 - I will bore people with the sheer number of great tunes that came from this year. Beyond that I love me some prog (yes, I am a pretentious arse) and some J-Pop (yes, I have no shame). Lately I've been really into 1920s/30s Shanghai jazz/blues - might be a story in it. Basically if it ignites something in me, it's fair game musically. I used to be my metal drummer housemate's main groupie.

I own a Turkish Van, and he's regal as all hell.

Most of my stories are regrettably back-burner projects. I would like to get to the point of regularly updating, but am not there yet. I am currently trying to get a series of novels published, so everything that goes here is my outlet. That's not to say I don't intend to finish these stories. I love Sap and Westicott, and Natasha and Elias.

On the other hand, 'The Loneliest Place on the Map' is my one complete story, so maybe go check it out.
