Author has written 31 stories for General, Love, General, Play, Life, War, Romance, Young Adult, and Fantasy. Hello and welcome to my world! I am a 25 year old Southern Californian who can design an electrical circuit, hold a conversation in Spanish and quote Shakespeare. Basically, I love a lot of stuff, particularly reading. My reading interests are all over the place, from classic literature to action to romance to YA to just about anything that catches my eye. I'm a big believer in the fact you CAN judge a book by its cover simply based on the fact something has to make you pick it up in the first place. When I do write, I write sporadically, and I write just about everything. I love NaNo and its variants, having tried two, though I've yet to win one due to my invariable writer's block. However, I do think of all of my stories often, and I have full intentions to finish them all...eventually. Hopefully I'll be making solid progress towards that goal, even if it is in spurts. As always, I appreciate constructive criticism, and I love to see that people are viewing my stories! Happy reading! My works include the following: Stealing Time: This is a novel that I began as a really late effort toward JulNoWriMo in 2011. Since then, I've worked on it sporadically. I'm about halfway done, but I'm posting it from the beginning as I give the chapters a rough edit. I'm hoping to get it all down on paper soon since it's been rocketing around in my head for a while now. The banner for the story can be found here. Summary: Scotty let out a low appreciative whistle. “17.9 seconds,” he read off, and the twins shook their heads in mirrored looks of disbelief. “Over 550 years in under 20 seconds?” Jace could barely believe what he was saying. “She’s getting faster.” Irin and her brothers Jace and Lance didn't have a normal upbringing. As children they were sought out and brought to train at the Company because they were born with a very special gift: they are Weavers. They have the ability to manipulate the web of time and, in the blink of an eye, transport themselves to any place and any time in the past. The purpose of the Company is twofold. The first is to protect Weavers from public exposure. The second is to defend the same web of time they can manipulate at will from an ancient enemy. On a routine mission, though, they meet someone who reminds them that sometimes even the most steadfast rules can be broken, for Rhys is most definitely a Weaver - a Weaver who has none of the limitations borne by the rest of his kind. As the entire Company reels from this revelation and tries to figure out if he is friend or foe in this millennia old war, Irin finds herself unmistakably drawn to him, and when the enemy is practically on their doorstep, she realizes the one person who might be able to help them is the one person the Company refuses to trust.
