Words to Live By

Any genre that's been around for any significant amount of time - whether it's crime, sci-fi, superhero, or horror - is essentially defined by a series of clichés. The truly great genre writers don't avoid these clichés, they use them to their advantage, combining the genre's various conventions into a familiar formula that acts as a single blank canvas on which to paint a new, unique tale.

Work in Progress

It's been a while folks. A lot's changed it feels like. I've been working on a lot of screen projects lately, but recently had the urge to get back into the prose fiction world. Still working on Tides of War the direct sequel to Antilla: Birth of Legends, an early draft of which is uploaded in its entirety on FictionPress: and if you haven't read that, shame on you! Go do that now! Unfortunately I dunno when it will be done, but I am definitely chipping away at the gargantuan task.

I'd appreciate any kind of feedback you may have and would repay that feedback in kind. So if you leave a review, I will definitely return the favor and leave one for you as well.
