For anyone that wants to know about me:

I'm Stephanie. I was born in England but I now live in Belfast, Northern Ireland, which I vastly prefer. I am now twenty years old, which frightens me sometimes but mostly amuses me. I'm a lesbian, apparently, although there seems to be some confusion about the fact seeing as I have a boyfriend. (He says it's okay because he's a lesbian too.) I'm currently unemployed, incredibly uneducated (high-school dropouts ftw), incurably smart-arsed and on medication for being persistently emo at random intervals. (Although I'm told it's called bipolar disorder.) I like adverbs and semi-colons a lot, and I enjoy leaving out commas. I am often accused of being a goth; I'm now at the point where I can't be bothered denying it any more. I have piercings, tattoos and purple hair, so I can see where they're coming from. I talk to my cats, I read a lot, I play a lot of videogames and I'm probably the biggest dork on the planet. Probably? Definitely. It's a source of pride. :D

Is that enough? I think that's enough.

Anyway, what I post is mostly random drabbles or poems; while I do write novels -- or at least attempt to -- I won't be posting any here unless I'm completely sure I don't want to publish them. Publishers get awfully antsy about things that have been posted on teh intarwebs, you know.

My LiveJournal, in which I am occasionally Emo McEmopants but usually just random and slightly hyperactive.

Notebook In Hand, a really awesome forum for writers.

Limyaael's rants on how not to write fantasy and science-fiction. I usually agree with her.
