Hi!

Thank you so much for stopping by, traveler. :)

Building worlds, characters, stories, and adventures - it's what I love! Of course, I also want to do it better! And who doesn't like to hear that their work is bringing enjoyment to others? To that end, I greatly appreciate any and all reviews/criticism - and will gladly return the favor. I do not say this as a means to generate reviews - I simply consider it a common courtesy. I should also say that if I have any skill at writing, then it is thanks to God above, apart from which I am and have nothing. Thanks again for stopping by, and I can't wait to hear from you!

Updates:

3/15/18 - 2018 was a bit of a rough year, but things seem to be improving. Hopefully back to writing soon, but we shall see.

2/8/18 - Once again, new roles at work have me scrambling for anything that resembles free time for a little while as I settle in. I hope that in a few weeks I will once again start to have some time to read and review. Oh, and write...

11/30/17 - Have decided to split SFII into two parts, as it has grown and has a natural break in the middle. That means SFIII should begin showing up very soon (as in, today) as I've completed the entire first part, just need to polish, edit, etc.

10/16/17 - Progress on SFIII is slow going. Life and stuff. Have managed some updates to SFI and SFII to improve prose some and correct typos.

9/18/17 - Outline of SFIII is complete, and have started writing it. It's clocking in at the same length as both I and II combined, so may have to break it down. Meanwhile, am overhauling and editing the prose of SFI & II to improve them.

My stories:

Presently, each of my pieces (except Zapp!) takes place in the same setting, though in different regions and times. Consequently, some common elements or themes might appear, but by and large they don't all concern the same story or characters (at least not directly, and with some exceptions.) Some info about each below. I tried not to rehash the summary, and provide information more relevant to the collection of works overall.

Sunken Ships Set Sail [Complete] - Takes place between Monolith and Shattered Fortress I, and ties the two together in a way, though reads more like a prequel to SF.

Lines at Night [one shot]- Takes place on the Wold Below, sometime following the events in Shattered Fortress I.

Monolith & Blackout [one shots] - Both concern the character of Matka, taking place a few days apart and prior to the events of Shattered Fortress I. The event in Monolith gets referenced in Shattered Fortress I as well as Sunken Ships Set Sail.

Shattered Fortress I: Visitors [Complete] - This revolves around an island in the sky that is home to a human civilization that lives there, having fled from a massive war on the World Below in ages past. For millennia they have known only their civilization, and in that time have forgot much the World Below and why they fled. That all gets shaken up when unexpected, and non-human, visitors arrive.

Shattered Fortress II: Adversaries [Complete] - The ongoing story of the Dryn Mar and Humans on Bron Nasaal. Takes place a few months after SFI.

Shattered Fortress III: Allies [Now in progress] - The ongoing story of the Dryn Mar and Humans on Bron Nasaal. Takes place immediately following SFII.

Zapp!: [Game] Silly little piece that is part of the Reverse Alphabet Game. Try it!

Jack Simple by The Warrior Poet reviews
Jack is a Woodcutter. Eidna is a Housemaiden. Fate draws them together, but Fate is complicated. A human story that takes place in a fantasy world, my goal is to show the magic that resides within the life of the common, everyday people that fantasy so often ignores. Sexually suggestive themes, but nothing explicit. Story is currently being rewritten.

Under a blue-grey sky by alltheeagles reviews
Around here, it isn't safe to be young and pretty, girls OR boys. Well, me, I'm ugly enough to live. But then there's Rayne. Between the face that screams TAKE ME and the daydreaming and crazy talk of magic, it's only a matter of time before the Snatchers get Rayne. And then what will I do? The sensible thing: stay out of it. But well, sometimes my heart doesn't agree with my head.

Undying Love: The Return by zanybellecloudo reviews
Death is the only thing in life we are promised. Our next meal, kiss or breath may never come, but death will always be there. Waiting. Or, at least that's what I thought until I made friends with a vampire. That's when I realised some things never die, and even if they do, they always return to those they love.
