Author has written 103 stories for Fantasy, General, Humor, Kids, Love, Life, Politics, Religion, Sci-Fi, Romance, General, Humor, Young Adult, Family, Horror, Supernatural, Essay, War, Spiritual, Nature, Fantasy, Mythology, and Haiku. I'm returning to Fictionpress after a LOOOONG hiatus, because I miss having a community of people interested in following my WIPs haha. A lot of what's listed on my profile is ANCIENT and terrible. But I'm starting a new series that I will update as often as I can, and hope you will read and enjoy it. :D Quick Facts: I'm a 25-year-old polyamorous bisexual girl married to a wonderful person named Chris. I love God and words and the universe at large. I have twitter, a tumblr, and a blog that posts writing advice. I've decided 2014 will be the year of hardcore writing work, but I won't be posting any of my work on here, since I plan on doing a lot more with it than just posting it here for fun. :) But I love reading stories (especially f/f stories or fantasy with awesome lady heroines) and I find that my writing improves when I help others with theirs. I love helping people brainstorm, too! Send me messages! I would love to try and help! :P (if you're interested in my writing progress, check out the "j writes 2013" tag on my tumblr. That's where I post all my brainstorming and blathering and work.) While I am still taking requests to beta, I am very picky about what I beta. Your story has to be interesting or I won't beta it. It's not that I'm a bitch, it's just that I know I'll say "YEAH SURE I'LL BETA FOR YOU OF COURSE!" and then I'll take a month to respond because I just didn't want to read it. It's not helpful to you. So if you ask me to beta, PLEASE give me a rough summary of your story, don't just say "Will you beta for me KTHNXBYE." If you want to seriously work on your writing and get thorough, in-depth reviews full of constructive criticism, check out Critique Circle. It's a really great website that's helped me a lot. "Don't worry about people trying to steal your ideas. Worry about having an idea worth stealing" - as far as I know, I made that up. If anyone knows where it actually came from, lemme know. Also - very very good advice If you want to read something of mine, but don't know what's good, I made these lists. They're not in any order. None of this stuff has been updated for YEARS (obviously) and I think it's all pretty terrible. POETRY: Binary Star, Untitled, Nameless, Unprinted, God, Labor Pangs, Thomas, and The Boy and The Girl SHORT STORIES aka "one shots": A Bird May Love a Fish, Highway Romance, Merrily, Merrily, Merrily, Merrily, and Broken Colours, Broken Dreams STORIES: Skyport, Girl of Many Names, Half-Spirit, Arista, plus Anni's Story and the ever-populer-but-I-hate-it story Happiest Girl in the World I highly recommend the FictionPress community - The Review Game!
