Author has written 7 stories for Young Adult, and Romance.
I'm still working on new material.
I also deleted a bunch of stories. Everything I've written in the last five or so years has remained... everything else is gone. All of the deleted stories were written before I graduated from high school... and it's like reading my high school journal. Those stories were cringe-worthy, melodramatic, had poor plot development, relied too much on dialogue... name something that's bad writing and it was probably in those eight or so stories. Some of them I flat out deleted. But most of them I saved... because it IS like my old journal from high school. And I like the bare bones of the plot... there's a tiny chance I could use it for another story but that gives me a headache just thinking about it. I did leave Ryan up, which I wrote ten years ago, because I still love that story. It still needs work... but it's not as cringe-worthy as the rest.
I'm still working on new material and I'm close to publishing it. But every time I almost publish it, I go back and re-write it. I'm probably just being (honestly) an anal perfectionist. Plus I can't think of a good title :( I'm also working on about three stories right now... just as I think I'm ready to publish the one I've been working on for a long time, I work on another. It's a weird combination of perfectionism and ADD haha.

Female, 26 years old, born and raised in California. I've always loved writing since I was a child... I joined this site when I was fourteen. Twelve years later, I deleted a bunch of my original stories, haha. Here are summaries for each of my stories, newest to oldest:
Say It Right: It all comes down to picking between the man you can't resist or the man who was there all along.
When Finally Set Free: This one is for everyone who has struggled with dating during college. Frat boys don't help make the dating scene easier.
Out of My Hands: Life is about choices... sometimes we make good choices and sometimes we make bad ones. Throw in a bridezilla sister when your personal life is already in turmoil and you're bound to get an angsty tale. (This story is semi-autobiographical... and I may have poured a little too much of my personal bitterness into it, which might make it a bitter pill to swallow. You've been warned.)
I wrote a trilogy, which unfortunately doesn't have a cute nickname. If you read these stories, you should probably read them in chronological order. I didn't set out intending to write a trilogy so many of the character descriptions are in the first story.
Story 1 - Stand By Me: A story of best friends needing each other... and maybe a hot twin brother too.
Story 2 - Nice Guys Always Finish: I loved the character of Erik so much that I wrote my own story for him. A lot of my readers reacted badly to the Erik's love interest and I reacted badly to criticism of her (I'll admit it now) so... maybe she's a bitter pill to swallow too. I'll probably re-write her all together, to be honest.
Story 3 - The Search For Something More: Izzy is the wild child I wish I was.
The only older story that I still mostly enjoy is Ryan because I channeled my very real grief over losing a close family friend into that story. I sometimes consider re-writing it (no plot changes, just... better writing, ha).
