I'm a very NORMAL person, really. I enjoy playing the violin and piano, reading, writing and of course, gardening. Drawing/ Fashion designing is also one of my hobbies. My favourite music composers include: Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt and Henry Mancini. Listening to jazz, oldies and classical music helps to lift my spirits. 'Etude No. 3 (La Campanella)' by Liszt, 'Moon River' by Henry Mancini, 'Fly me to the Moon' by Diana Krall, 'Bridge Over Troubled Waters' by Simon and Garfunkel, 'She' by Elvis Costello from the movie Notting Hill, 'The Winner Takes it All' and 'Thank You for the Music' by ABBA, are some of my favourite songs.

At the moment, my favourite books/plays include:
1. PRIDE & PREJUDICE by Jane Austen
2. JANE EYRE by Charlotte Bronte
3. GONE WITH THE WIND by Margaret Mitchell
4. ROSE IN BLOOM by Louisa May Alcott
5. THE LORD OF THE RINGS by Tolkien
6. HAMLET by Shakespeare

I think it's quite clear from the list above which genre of fiction I'm mainly into. :)

Some of my favourite websites:
1. http://
2. http:// (Discussions about Jane Austen's works)
3. http:///derby/ (Fantastic sequels to Jane Austen's works)
4. http:// (An interesting, hilarious website about LOTR of course!)
5. http:///People/hnohf/ (If you want to learn Elvish...)
6. http:///Classics/Alcott/ (Read Louisa May Alcott's stories etc.)

For my IRS project 2003, I have completed a research study entitled 'Where do Writers get their Inspiration?' If you would like to know more about effective writing styles and suggested inspiration sources for those times when we suffer from writer's block, feel free to visit the website that I have provided above as my homepage. There, you might also want to view really detailed and helpful responses of other Fictionpress/Fanfiction members. :)

All the virtues, all the grand words, are, as it were, in spite of evil. Where would triumph be if there were nothing to triumph over? What would be the value of love in a world where there was no hatred? Or consider this: one of our highest graces is forgiveness; and forgiveness is impossible unless there is sin.
-'Reason to Believe' by Peter Mullen
On 'Why does God Allows Suffering?'
--

All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players.
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages.
-Shakespeare

The child whispered, “God, speak to me!”
And a meadow lark sang.
The child did not hear.

So the child yelled, “God, speak to me!”
And the thunder rolled across the sky
But the child did not listen.

The child looked around and said,
“God let me see you” and a star shone brightly
But the child did not notice

And the child shouted,
“God show me a miracle!”
And a life was born but the child did not know.

So the child cried out in despair,
“Touch me God, and let me know you are here!”
Whereupon God reached down
And touched the child.
But the child brushed the butterfly away
And walked away unknowingly.
