As far as what I am in terms of a label- I'm not. I think labels are for soup cans, and I go between styles, not taking any of them to the extreme. It just depends on what kind of mood I am in.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion; it is not the expression of personality, but an escape from personality. But, of course, only those who have personality and emotions know what it means to want to escape from these things.
T. S. Eliot (1888-1965)

"Why shouldn't truth be stranger than fiction? Fiction, after all, has to make sense."
--Mark Twain

"A great writer creates a world of his own and her/his readers are proud to live in it. A lesser writer may entice them in for a moment, but soon he will watch them filing out."
--Cyril Connolly

"Poets have been mysteriously silent on the subject of cheese."
--G. K.Chesterton

"The only thing that can change the world is the reclaiming of the awareness of the world. That's what poetry does."
--Allan Ginsberg

Poetry is an echo, asking a shadow to dance.
Carl Sandburg (1878-1967)

Poetry is the revelation of a feeling that the poet believes to be interior and personal which the reader recognizes as his own.
-Salvatore Quasimodo (1901-1968)

A lot of my poems are spiritual. I don't really have many posted now, but trust me, if you watch my poetry consistantly, you'll see. If you don't understand something, or want to know more, feel free to e-mail me.

I will review anybody that reviews me, if that is any kind of incentive.

Thanks for reading and I will try to update as soon as possible, though I'm not promising any kind of time schedule. From now on, I'll try to keep my updates pretty regular, but like I said, I will not commit to a schedule, because my life tends to be very hectic.

Sorry, I had to delete the poem called "The Song of Jordan" along with the reviews I got, but it's back up now, so if the review you sent me isn't there that's why.
