Author has written 96 stories for Haiku, Fantasy, Love, Romance, Nature, General, Life, Friendship, Essay, and General.
I'm trying to work on fiction right now...poems will be few and far between, I expect. And any stories will be taking a while, what with the story that I'm probably NOT posting that I'm working on for the next two weeks and 3 AP classes and piano and the final revision of dandelionia's and my novel. Because a publisher is looking at a couple chapters, so we've got to get the rest done before they reply, just in case *knocks on wood*...

Just thought I'd let anyone who cares know.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

I'm a sixteen-year-old girl in Michigan and I've been writing poetry for a little over a year.

I love to read and I love music. My favorite book is the Lord of the Rings, although I like most things I read and remember. I play piano, was teaching myself wirestrung Gaelic harp, and I love John Mayer's music. John Mayer above all else, and the only others I will mention here are Graham Colton Band and the Old 97's, but I like lots.

Dandelionia (here on FP) and I have written a novel--I don't think we're going to post it here, though. That's been taking up my time lately, editing and revising and rereading and revising...

I believe in returning reviews. I might take a while at it, though.

My entertaining wit is not apparent in this profile. Oh well.

As You Entered the Room reviews
truly, it's untitled, but I decided to title it here-suggestions please? In basically the same vein as the other two newest, but I am more satisfied with this one. It's really a basically happy poem, well having him in my class is.

That Chance reviews
Goes w/Last Glimpse, same set up/rhythm for a bit, I don't like it as much. I need an ending that kind of goes w/Last Glimse, haven't thought much on it yet. What do you think of it, as a poem? I was actually happy-he was in my class...

How Could It Be? reviews
(you/across from me) so school started, and the schedule machine is nice or something. My summaries must be becoming really bad, no one is reviewing my stuff. I want to know, seriously, what people think of this as a poem.

A Fruitless Recount: He Loves Me Not reviews
You know how you you take straw wrappers and pinch them, turning them about ninety degrees in between each inch and do the whole "He loves me, he loves me not" thing...at least according to my mom...well self-deception doesn't always work.

Such a Bittersweet Dream reviews
Updated w/another dream that goes w/it. Based on dreams I had, tragedy only to me because I never get to know what happened. How well is it written? although the dialogue's right from the dream, so I dont' think it's too great.

I was really bored the day I wrote this and the haiku, dragged off shopping w/my parents and none of my friends could come. Do you like the [brackets] 'cause they were editing that I forgot to take out but some people like them.

Sitting Here Alone reviews
These are a bunch of haiku that go together, not completely true as I have had no chance to wonder "what we could have been" and I wasn't depressed then; they were just sposed to be bored poems but the other things sounded good. Anyway, this is too long

Cityglow Sky: No Wishes reviews
The other night I couldn't see the stars, and I wanted something descriptive (not depressing) to write. A couple nights later I realized it just probably wasn't late enough, because if you wait you can see them. I think it's a pretty cool poem.

One winter night the rain (I guess it wasn't cold enough for snow) was really, really tiny and barely felt wet...that's basically what this is about. Itwas really cool!

Winter: Wonderland or Wasteland? reviews
Also from seventh grade, this poem kind of shows the way we tend to get snow in my part of Michigan-when we get enough (I like a lot) it stays forever. Don't get me wrong, I love snow, but the same old snow gets so yucky...

I don't know if I should call this March, or March Slips In, as Microsoft word titled it. It's another sixth grade assignment that I still like, using a cat instead of a lion and a lamb.

This is a poem about autumn, obviously. I wrote it 3-4 years ago, in sixth grade, but I still like it. I'm not sure the metaphor is completely clear, however. What do YOU think the pillars are? Please tell me.
