Just a little note to explain the final penname change and lack of old posts below and any in the future.

I just want to say thank you to all who have supported me by reading & reviewing my work over the past 9 years, specifically to those who have become such good friends outisde FP in hard times - you hopefully know who you are.

Unfortunately, after recent events and much prayer, I have decided it is time for me to close my FP account and keep my writing for myself and/or those close to me rather than broadcasting it all over the internet. Annoyingly, there is no way to actually delete a FP account so this profile update is the best I can do towards a fresh start and real healing.

As many may know, it's been an extremely stressful year for me with work, health, family and relationships and these recent events have lead me to believe the best way to deal with a lot of stuff I've written about is actually to face it head on rather than hiding in my writing. I've always found that writing in a public forum, and on Fictionpress specifically, has been about finding yourself and sharing your feelings (positive or negative) with complete strangers when you can't tell people face-to-face and in turn, supporting others in their trials and triumphs as an understanding third party with similar experiences. Years on this site and many posts and virtual/real friendships later, I have finally come to that point in my life where I am ready leave the comfort of internet escapism behind and be the person I want to be.

I thank God for the true friends I have made on here and will always have even though I'm no longer writing. I may still continue to read & review but I won't be posting again anytime in the near future, if ever at all.

May any new FP writers who stumble across my profile after a review take courage from this bizzare account closure after nearly a decade of writing. Just remember that when life gives you lemons, there is always some way to make lemonade.
