Author has written 5 stories for Historical, and Young Adult.

Hello to all the nice people who read this and hopefully read my stories!

Heres a little bit about me...

My name is Kirsty and I'm seventeen. I currently reside in Scotland and attend high school. Later on, I hope to go to university and study journalism and english literature or film&media and history. Hopefully, I'll become a journalist and later on, an author. That would be my dream. Oh and to live in Russia.

It's an apparantly universially known fact that I was born in the wrong era and would be much better suited to either the 1930s/1940s or the Regency era (according to my friends anyways) I'm not entirely sure whether I agree which this but I suppose it's a compliment of sorts.

I love writing and I get a lot of inspiration from the books I read, the films I watch, the music I listen to,the places I go and sometimes from history classes. I write mainly historical fiction, specialising in 19th century Britain or early 20th century Russia. I may branch out a bit later on and write about one of my earlier loves, Tudor and Stuart Britain.

As I previously said, many things influence me. My favourite films include Gone with the Wind, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Amelie, Doctor Zhivago, Anna Karenina etc etc.

Favourite books are again Gone with the Wind, Rebecca, Doctor Zhivago, The House by the Dvina and various historical and classic movie actress/actors biographies.

Music - No Doubt, Keane, Franz Ferdinand, Snow Patrol, All American Rejects, various film soundtracks.

Aspirations - To become a journalist, to see all of Vivien Leigh and Olivia de Havillands films and become as beautiful as either of them. To move to either Russia, Paris (I love that city so much when I visited it), London (equally loved it)

I think thats all there is to know about me...
