Back after a long hiatus, with a new story, Faith, Trust, & Pixie Dust. This is my NaNoWriMo 2017 novel, inspired by a late night driving through San Francisco, and the story of Peter Pan. Enjoy!
Who Am I:
I'm a compulsive reader and writer, who is more of a writer than a reader these days. I also dabble in art, am an avid collector of music, I have a black belt in Taekwondo, and I have a weak spot for ice cream. I've also been called Obsessive Compulsive by my friends, due to my obsession with alphabetising things, and my obsessive way of organising things. I can be overly sarcastic and cynical at times, but am actually quite a nice and loyal person. I'm a brilliant liar, but I'm also brutally honest and I'm not afraid to stand up to people. I can't stand the cold, yet hate too much heat, I think penguins are evil and manipulative, and I wouldn't be caught dead wearing pink. My Apple laptop is my baby, and so is my little Holden car, and I have a nasty habit of thinking out loud. I hate the radio, I think TV is getting worse, and books don't get enough attention. You can tell I'm really mad or scared when I swear, because normally I don't, and I hate it when people insist on using bad language. If you've read through all of that, you may think I'm a bit of a weirdo, and a walking contradiction. Don't worry, I do too.
1 - The Immortal Lie is the final story in my Immortals trilogy, and it will be told entirely from Brendan's POV. This is a story about him finally grasping what it means to be immortal, and the impact his new life will have on his oblivious mortal family. Can Sarah and Gabriel help him? Or is this something that even the two Reapers have no expertise in? Sometimes a lie is sweeter to believe in than the truth of the matter. - On Hold Indefinitely
2 - Stardust And Memories is a new short story with a bit of a sci-fi feel to it. A dying race sends all of their worldly knowledge to Earth, protected by two guardians who each have one half of the total knowledge. However, once on Earth they become separated as an old foe takes possession of Ash, leaving Taylor to flee into the strange city. However, once on Earth Taylor forgets about her otherworldly identity, and grows up in a foster family with Jake, another orphan. But dreams start to stir, dreams of a man who once held her heart, and in her quest for answers about the mysterious Ash, she ends up in the hands of the enemy, dragging Jake along for the ride. Memories are powerful things, but when they're gone, what do you have left? - On Hold Indefinitely
