Ok well here are a few things to know about me. I currently live in Illinois surrounded by fields and fields and fields of corn (oh yeah lovely) corn, corn, corn, as far as the eye can see. It does get quite boring. I am 26 years old and have an orange tabby cat and a chinese sharpei (you know the big wrinkly dogs). My favorite color is green, although I also like blue. I am of mixed race my father being Black and White, and my mother being Thai. I love culture and languages. I was born in Illinois and spent most of my years in Florida until hurricane Andrew blew everything away. Now here I lie a city girl in a country world deprived of anything life has to offer me. Well actually it is not all that bad. I do plan on moving back to a big city once i graduate.

I have always loved poetry although I do not like english classes ZZZZZZZZ they are so boring. Some of my favorite poets are Walt Whitman, Langston Hughes, Robert Frost, and Maya Angelou. I also love to read novels of all sorts.

I love browsing through all the poetry on this site and submitting reviews. I hope that everyone who reads my poetry will also submit reviews. Even if you don't like my poetry tell me so. I am open to all opinions. I always try to review everyone who reviews me.( Thanks to all the wonderful writers that submit their reviews faithfully.)
