Life changes in interesting ways. A lot of the time we just don't notice. Growing up is one of those that we don't really pay attention to. Although when you see yourself as still a child at nineteen and then getting to watch yourself change and turn into an adult, you tend to pay attention. You can watch yourself go from timid and uncertain to assertive and confident. And it's interesting, because one day you are the former and the next the latter. And you wonder, when exactly did that change happen. All I can do is say thank you to all of my friends. For pushing, prodding, coaxing, and just generally putting up with me while I went through the emotional wreckage of a high schooler years late.
