The title is an oxymoron, in case you didn't notice. So is the term "hardcore music." This style of noise involves having your bass player tuned so low that only elephants can hear it and having your lead, er, vocalist scream emo in disguise into the mic.

Music has such potential to inspire and influence us that it has to have some connection with whatever holds the universe together. This poem is about music's hold over us all, and its ability to tap into the truths we merely glance over.
