I have quit fictonpress. Looking at all these old stories brings back nostalgic memories. I remember typing for hours just to update to a nearly nonexistant fan base. Fun, fun. These stories...childish plots, poorly constructed chapters. I've grown so much as a writer in such a short amount of time. I started here in seventh grade. Now I'm a freshman in high school. I'm proud of my progress. I will leave this to perhaps read what I've written one day after finishing (if ever, hah) a more mature, original, and deeper story.

in case you're interested. Although it is fanfiction, there is a more supportive and active community there in my individual fandoms. I was able to improve my writing there, and I have raised my expectations for writing to what they stand as of now. I do not currently publish my original works online anymore. Frankly, many stories on here are not suitable to be published in any way, shape, or form especially including my own which I find sub par. Still, I do believe there is much room to improve one's writing skills here, and I hope the site will continue to inspire others to write. I just find that I've lost a spark for original writing as of now. I still write original snippets and have ideas, but it seems I'm still going to lean on a crutch when it comes to furthered plots.

Thank you for your time. It warms my heart (and makes me laugh) to see my old profile here. I have saved it for posterity's sake and for future laughs. My writing and myself have grown and moved on, but I will remember enjoying my time here.

-Edit 2/11/07: I do believe I have found some inspiration. In fact, I have two multi-chaptered stories I'd like to give a try. Still, it's hard to stop thinking about them and actually write anything. I would like to come back to this site in the (near) future but it will be on a different and new account (for a new start) and will feature one-shots as well. Hopefully I can further improve my writing by coming back to more serious original stories. Keep writing everyone.
