Author has written 4 stories for Romance. Update 5/6/2016 So, more exciting news. He Loves Me Not, the second story I started writing here, has been published as well. It's available on Amazon in both Kindle and in paperback. If you search under Tierney Fowler, it should pop right up. Once again, I'm so thankful for all the love and support I've received here under the years. I appreciate you all so much! xo Update 8/18/2014 You guys. Tomorrow is the day. Lifestyles of the Rich and (In)Famous is available on Amazon for all you lovely Kindle users. The hard copy won't drop until December. I don't have a lot to say besides THANK YOU and I hope you love it in published format as much as you used to love it here! Update 10/30/2013 Lifestyles is going through its second round of edits, and I got to see the first version of my cover. (It's SO PERFECT!) I don't have a specific release date yet, but I know it'll be Summer 2014. Yay! Also, people who've been following me a long time (I LOVE YOU!) might be excited to hear that the Mafia story I had going for awhile (and took down because I hated it) is also nearly done. Some exciting details to come about that in the future. He Loves Me Not is like 75% done, and it's super cute. Hopefully that will get picked up as well! My life is so weird now. But it's awesome! If you follow me on Twitter, let me know you're from FP so I can lavish you with lots of love. Update 4/30/2013 You guys. YOU GUYS. Lifestyles is being published by Spencer Hill Contemporary next year! Woot! Add it on Good Reads! And follow me on Twitter: @TierneyFowler !! Update 12/4/2012 Lifestyles of the Rich and Infamous is now being shopped around to publishers by my brand new (and super awesome) literary agent. He Loves Me Not is the next manuscript I'm focusing on. It's about 65% completed. You can read a few of the chapters here that served as my jumping off point, although the finished product is much different (and better, in my opinion). Update: 10/6/2011 Wow. It's done. This is a weird/amazing feeling. Ten years in the making, folks. To the people who still love me... thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you. Update: 12/16/10 Hello lovers. I'm back. xoxo Update 7/19/09 Holy cow, holy cow. Totally nominated for a SKOW award (which...actually...I didn't know what it was until I went to the site. hee.) It's such a big honor and I'm super excited so GO vote for Tristan and Nyx for Best Chemistry whenever voting opens. (Actually, I have zero idea how this all works, so someone explain.) Yay Tristan and Nyx! Yay! Update: 7/14/08 Have you ever woke up and absolutely hated everything? I have. Hi, I'm That Girl You Love, and I used to have wildly popular stories here on Fiction Press. And, then, one day, filled with self-loathing, I deleted them all. After I realized what I did, I promptly freaked out, cried, and then never signed in again. Until now. I'm finally able to accept that what I did actually helped me in the end. I'm a senior at GMU, and I'm majoring in Creative Writing. I may even apply for the MFA (Masters of Fine Arts) program. I met with my adviser, and I told her what I did, expecting her to berate me. Instead, she did just the opposite. Most of the stories I had here on Fiction Press were written/started/conceived when I was a wee lass in high school. (Oh lord, it seems like ages ago that my fifteen year old self sat down and wrote a story about a girl named Nyx...) She told me, very nicely, that most of what writers do when they're first starting out is crap. Even if it's good, it's still crap. And, if a writer can completely do away with what they personally love and think is wonderful, and rewrite it again, it always turns out better. Nyx and the gang. Holly and Lexy. Tristan and AJ and Lorne. They're all still rattling around and arguing and loving and fighting in my head. And, yes, they will be coming out once again. One day, I want to be a published writer. And, I really believe that one day, you all will be able to buy your very own copy of Nyx's story. (And maybe the other hundreds of other ideas I have in my brain.) I do want to say I'm sorry. I'm sorry I deleted everything, and then disappeared. You guys have been awesome, amazing readers and reviewers and friends. That was unfair to you. I also want to say thank you. Thank you for all your kind words and your concerns and your emails and your time and your reviews. That being said, I want to ask you all a favor. Please be passionate with your reviews. I want to know how I can make my stories better. Tell me what you absolutely love, and what you loathe from the bottom of your heart. Tell me if a character seems stiff or unreal, or if you want to one day have Tristan's babies. I probably won't be posting anything for awhile, but know that I'm working on it. If you ever want to talk, add me as a friend on Myspace. (/thatgirlyoul0ve) I'd love to get to know you all. Okay. Love you. Thanks for reading. I'll be back full force as soon as I can. Hugs and kisses. ThatGirlYouLove Update 7/15/08 Why, yes, yes Nyx and the gang ARE back! Haha. I know this is new and weird for those of you who've been reading my stories since, god, like the year 2000, but I hope you like. If you ARE familiar with the story and the characters, let me know what you think about the new version. I didn't want the whole "going to new york to see my new family" thing to be so cliche anymore, and I wanted to add more of a sense of maturity to these characters. Also, a big difference is that it's not from Nyx's POV anymore. Do you like that? Or do you like seeing from other viewpoints too? Guys, this is SUCH a huge experiment for me, and I honestly value your opinions. Please please please, and I love you all madly. |
