For a start, I always welcome any kind of review, even if it is rude. All reviews have value to me and will help me to become a better writer. At first, I may be shocked at what I get, but it helps me in the end. I am quite used to criticism (although I am not too much of a fan of it), and to be honest, I very much enjoy the critiques that I have gotten from the people on this site so far. I am very proud to be on a site full of bright people.
Looking over other people's work is one of my only talents that I truly enjoy. I of course also enjoy writing; otherwise I wouldn't be here today. I write more than I put on here, but there are certain works that I write that other eyes must not view. I must also state that I am really proud of anyone who has the courage to upload his or her work that he or she put his or her heart and soul into. Even if one gets a lot of bad reviews on a story, one must also be proud of oneself for putting the work on this site because it shows that one is willing to allow other people's thoughts to influence one's writing style.
As for getting into the scope of who I am, I am merely a floating shadow, trying to reconnect with her roots and untapping the potential of what my life was meant to be. I am still an interesting person who seems to be complex and mysterious. I had been reduced to being just like everyone else before rediscovering that I am a unique person with my own set of talents. I felt like a drone that was a cookie cut of everyone else. It was rather depressing feeling. I, however, have learned to assimilate myself while still being able to somewhat embrace who I truly am.
It is very hard for me to find the words and thoughts to express myself thoroughly. I have a good family, a lovely husband, and kind friends who are plentiful; thus, I have more support than I previously thought.
I am finally seeing that little rainbow that I dreamed about seeing 27 years ago. Most things in my life seem pretty damn good. The worst enemy actually is... myself, but even I have come to terms with the fact that I am not perfect. I have great animals as well: two cats named Garfield and Oreo, and the colors are appropriate to their names. They also eat as much as their names suggest, which makes me very happy. They are the most lovely animals I have ever seen in my life. I like animals in general, as they provide some form of balance that humans for some reason cannot provide. I have a basil plant named Basilia. I water her often and make sure she is okay. She looks beautiful as she sits in front of my apartment.
