Hello ...

My name is Lorilei. If you call me anything besides that, I'll axe-murder you. It is not a threat, but a promise.

I'm an amateur writer who hopes to be appreciated through her works. I must admit, I hardly finish a story. I blame it on my pure laziness. It is one of my billions of flaws. I also have a talent of procrastination. I do everything at the last minute! My mother blames it on my precious computer, Lars, but I blame it on my laziness.
It always come back to that.

I'm at the tender age of 14 and still stuck on my teen angst phase. What can I say? Living is hard! I have black hair that turns reddish brown against the sun, dark brown eyes which appear to be black, dark tanned skin, and a height of 4'11. Yes people, you read right. I am 4 feet and 11 inches tall. No need to lower my self-esteem even more. That's all taken care of.

Although some poeple would say I'm sort of gothic-ish, I'm far from it! Sure, I like the color black, find myself reserved and quiet for the most part, but I am not gothic. I listen to any kind of music except for rap and some country. Most of the time you'll see me obsessing about rock music; any kind of rock music.

I also have a fascination with oldies music. Especially Frank Sinatra. I think it's because my father plays it all the time ever since I was born. I even listen to opera music, but I don't make a habit out of it. I only listen to a select few, which is about 2 songs!

I think the reason why I have a diverse taste in music is because I love to sing. I like singing any songs and i mean ANY songs. As long as they're not completely horrible.

I must confess, when I was about 8 or 9, I was in love with the Spice Girls. Yep, my cousins and I used to immitate them. We even had our own girl group, the name escapes me for the moment. We never could totally agree on the name! Good times!

Anyway, I'm done with my trivial blabber. You're free to go now, but be sure to read my stories or poems. Please review! Whether it is a note of disappointment or appreciation, it doesn't matter. Knowing that you took the time to read and review it, makes me smile. =D
