This is a poem that is basically about being with someone you don't know well or even esp. like, knowing it's meaningless, but doing it anyways.

About disappointing someone by being who you are, but still being reluctant to change for them

A more abstract poem on the loss of innocence, and regretting the lies that took it away

I remembered the first bit from my "Random" collection and decided to finish it

Rated because yes, it does make references to suicide. "cold presses hard under her chin, a black mouth/opening its lips to bestow a lover’s chilly/good-bye kiss on her pale-cream skin."

About growing out of an appreciation for beauty, being distracted by "reality" instead, in an abstract kind of way

I'm definitely having writer's block...I'm not convinced this one makes sense entirely, but it's basically about how when something bad is happening to you, you still hope that it might be only a dream, that none of it is real.

This isn't literally about a prisoner of war. It's more about feeling forced to share personal stuff, and how it changes the way you feel about yourself. Actually, I'm not sure that makes so much sense...

Lately I haven't been feeling very creative...this is kind of similar to the style of e.e. cummings, and to me it's about using a relationship to forget painful memories.

it's about an ocean of memories, not about the ocean literally.

it has a much deeper meaning then it might seem and it's rated because personally i think its a bit disturbing, but maybe that's just me.
