today (05/26/04) is the day to say farewell to all of you, I'm leaving this site.

As you all know, I'm GERMAN, so english is not my mothertongue. But yesterday I took all my courage and posted two little poems, written in english. I knew, they weren't very good, but they were very important to me. I liked them and my friends liked them as well, so I posted them. This is the (anonymous) review I got:

"your poems should go fucking write about how much of a loser you are. this blows out the ass. my dog writes better poems"

You know, I'm not much of an emotional person, but I almost started to cry. There's no need to get this personal in a review. I appreciate constructive criticism and suggestions for improvement, but I don't want to get emotional hurt just because of a stupid little poem.

After a long (absolutely sleepless) night, I decided a) to delete them and b) to leave this site. My german poem "Allein" and the "36 Haikus einer unglücklichen Liebe" are finished.

I hope you understand my reasons and that I won't READ anymore on this site either.

To the anonymous reader: Thanks for making me cry. I doubt, you could write a proper poem in a foreign language.
