update from Courtney. Hello, loves! I'm sorry for abandoning you all for so long - it just happens to be that I started high school and goodness me, it takes a toll on the body! But just today, I was rereading Track Season and realized that I'd really like to continue it - but only in a different light. I'm definitely rewriting it, reediting, revising, whatever! I've gotten the first few chapters done and I'm very much more organized this time. The new and improved version should be up soon, I hope!

The characters and the structures are going under some dramatic changes. Now, don't fret! They'll still the amazing characters we all fell in love with, but much more dynamic. They'll be much more realistic and in depth; I realized that while reading the story that I was very vague on character development that I won't happen this time around. Also, in the revised version, the story will be split up into two parts: Pre-Season and Track Season. Meaning you will get a glimpse into the world of both Macy and Dave before they begin track, then when they meet the week before season starts. I think it will help the comprehension of the characters and the story line flow much better.

So I want to thank you all for being so patient with me and I hope to get as much enthusiasm this time around as the original held! I'll leave the original up, of course, for anyone interested in reading what shaped the story now. So hold on tight and maybe I might leave you all a Christmas present - the beginning of the newly revised Track Season!
