... Yeah. That's about it.
Do you need or want a copy editor?
My sister and I are available as an editing team. As a member of my school's yearbook staff, I'm a grammar Nazi and anything that gets by me is caught by my sister. We both check for tense, punctuation, spelling and clarity. If anything is unclear, we will leave a note within the work that we will highlight or bold in parentheses, depending on what you would prefer us to do. After you revise your work, we will happily re-edit.
On a more concise note, my sister and I are available as editors. These are aspects of your work we will check:
- Grammar (Yes, we're those folks who are bothered by
incorrect usage of "your, you're, they're, their and there.")
- Awkward sentence flow
Under the general editing category, we will simply change those errors, while under the revision category, we will usually highlight or leave a comment.
The most important aspect of our service is that we simply wish to provide help if you'd like it. Feel free to e-mail me at [email protected] or my sister at [email protected].
(By the way, I attend Kapaun Mt. Carmel. Our journalism staff does relatively well at nationals and we have won State Journalism Awards repeatedly.)
The Secret Ingredient
- Chapter 11 in the process of being edited
- Chapter 12 plot in progress
- I'm going to try to update at least once a week, but my life has suddenly gotten a lot busier. I'm sorry for the lack of updates, considering I started off updating almost every day.
- I feel really bad for giving you guys a shorter chapter, but I have 11 on the way. Sorry!
Nessa-Belle087: I really appreciate all of your support. It means a lot to me.
Pixietrouble: Thank you. ^_^
When I wrote this poem, I was imagining a girl who died and went to the gates of Heaven. There, she pleaded with St. Peter to sit with him and watch the mortals down on Earth until the one she loved died and came to Heaven. Sitting there with St. Peter, she had hoped to see the people she left behind live happy, good lives. Instead she saw nothing but pain everywhere she turned. She especially watched the boy she loved, but has become overcome with pain, realizing he isn't going to make it to Heaven because of how he's intentionally hurting other people.
