Do you need or want a copy editor?

My sister and I are available as an editing team. As a member of my school's yearbook staff, I'm a grammar Nazi and anything that gets by me is caught by my sister. We both check for tense, punctuation, spelling and clarity. If anything is unclear, we will leave a note within the work that we will highlight or bold in parentheses, depending on what you would prefer us to do. After you revise your work, we will happily re-edit.

On a more concise note, my sister and I are available as editors. These are aspects of your work we will check:

Under the general editing category, we will simply change those errors, while under the revision category, we will usually highlight or leave a comment.

When I wrote this poem, I was imagining a girl who died and went to the gates of Heaven. There, she pleaded with St. Peter to sit with him and watch the mortals down on Earth until the one she loved died and came to Heaven. Sitting there with St. Peter, she had hoped to see the people she left behind live happy, good lives. Instead she saw nothing but pain everywhere she turned. She especially watched the boy she loved, but has become overcome with pain, realizing he isn't going to make it to Heaven because of how he's intentionally hurting other people.
