Author has written 15 stories for Fantasy, Life, General, Love, Song, General, and Friendship.

Hello and welcome to my page of stories, songs, and poetry. I am Ardent, and these are my works. I write for one reason, and for one reason only; I love to write.

Poetry and litterature is the reflection of the author on the world around him or herself. How the author chooses to do this is truly at their discretion, be it stream of conciousness, structured poetry, or some other groundbreaking revolutionary style. That said, I tend towards structured or free verse poems. But please, it sickens me to see throngs upon throngs of poems that say something to the effect of "f* him up cuz he ain't got no biznatch". For the art, at least spell it properly.

Now, having completed the International Baccalaureate Programme and as a result having read countless classics, my time is freer and more fluid. I'm eager to see how I spend my time, what I write, and how it's received.

I definitely need music in my life, so that could be considered one of my inspirations. I like all varieties of music, not just the narrow-minded North American contemporary music, but also intercontinental as well as inter-era music. I draw my inspiration from the world around me, people, situations, one of mypoems here is even about politics. They truly mean what you take them to mean, and that is the beauty of my art.

I only have two stories up to date. The Storm is about the trials and tribulations against nature of a boy, a coming of age perhaps. It has some nice imagery, and it's all very symbolic. Living Death is actually a story that I have nearly completed and am taking a very long time to edit and revise. Two of its chapters are up here, with a promise of two more by the end of this summer.

One thing, anything I publish here is not new, it's always a month or two old or older. There are a number of reasons for this, not the least of which is that it gives me a chance for revision.

So pull up your most comfortable chair and crack open one of my tomes. I hope you enjoy, and I hope you care enough to leave a review! I always appreciate constructive criticism. If you loved it, let me know! If you hated it, tell me why! I always go and review something somebody who reviewed me wrote. Now off you go!

My favorite works that I have posted to date: Droplets of Time, Judgement, Here's To, Burning Decision
