![]() Author has written 2 stories for Fantasy, and Young Adult. On September 29, I lost one of the most important people in my life, my Mom. She was my hero, my light, and my best friend. Her laugh touched every person who knew her and her smile could light up the entire room. She was the most beautiful woman I knew. Though I miss her with everything I am, I’m glad that she is no longer suffering, and I’m so very proud of her. She spent the last few years of her life doing everything she wanted. She swam with dolphins, danced all night, and spent as much time as she could doing all the things she loved the most. She went bravely and boldly and without regrets. I know that she is at peace and happy with her mom and dad, watching over all those that she left behind. She wouldn’t want anyone to be sad for her – instead she would want us to celebrate her life and remember how amazing she truly was. I love you, Mom. Kelly Cordy 12/21/1967 – 09/29/2012. Rest in Paradise That being said, I will not be continuing with any of my stories until further notice. I appreciate your interest and am truly flattered and amazed that so many of you have emailed me asking me to continue. However, it just isn't possible at the current time. When I can put myself into a better state of mind, I will continue; until then, I am on a permanent hiatus. I'm sorry. Trust Me: When Baylee is kidnapped by a man who calls himself a 'contractor' intent on selling her to a mysterious and wealthy man, she must do whatever it takes to escape with her life. As the situation slips further and further out of her control, will she be able to do the unthinkable? And in the end, will she even want to? Chasing Princes: Meet Talia, a clumsy, witty girl who hates most guys, including the one she can't get rid of.He laughs at her and teases her, and now she's stuck on quest with him, searching for a prince who clearly doesn't want to be found. Ah the life of a commoner... Unfortunately, this story is on hiatus. I lost all of the original files, and now I can't seem to get my mind back into the groove of writing it. I'm not saying I never will - just that I've lost focus on it for now. Still feel free to enjoy reading what's there though! I've decided to remove all of my poetry pieces from the site, since I don't really write poetry anymore and I'm much better at writing fiction. Also, if I don't update often it's because I am juggling full time college and a full time job, so please don't send me angry messages. On that note, if you do want to say anything in a message, I will try to answer ASAP! Thanks for taking the time to visit my profile, and I hope you enjoy reading my work! Kayla Christine |
