Graffiti

We all start out as a blank slate, untouched parchment. Little by little words appear on us, some scratched in, some lovingly painted on, some carefully formed by a shaky hand, some scrawled. They all mix into a wonderful mosaic of graffiti that becomes an essential part of who are, whether we're a wall, a bridge, a mirror or something else entirely.

My graffiti isn't finished yet, there's still words missing, blank spots to be filled. But when it's finished, I promise you, I will be a masterpiece.

Someday.

Who?

I'm physically 20, though I suspect that mentally and emotionally I'm around 43, in terms of pessimism. I like to describe myself as a cynical idealist. Some days I despair with mankind and others I wake up and I know that we can change the world if we try hard enough. There's always hope.

I'm Canadian, and officially eccentric, but all writers are. To be a writer, you have to spend most of your time in your head (otherwise you're not doing your job) and I must say, it's a lot more fun in here.

I wear silver rings and I have blue-grey eyes with shades of green. I don't speak unless I have something to say (I hate small talk) but when I do have something worth talking about there's no shutting me up.

I like pie and Shakespeare plays and hugs. I believe in reincarnation.

I'm secretive, but I'm a terrible liar so I stick to being bluntly honest when it comes to that. But if you don't ask, then I won't tell.

I love my family.

I'm female, and quite happy to be so. I'm feminine, but in a womanly sense, not the girly giggly kind. I believe in equality of the genders, not superiority, male or female.

My dream in life is to travel, to fall in love at least once, to act, to write, make my mark, and live, laugh, love and learn as much as possible before I'm gone. What more is there to do?
