An Essex summer night in 1847. Miss Emily Meadows dreams. "I am dreaming, I realize, as my eyelids flutter open and he is there again. No, I cannot see him. I never can. But I know he is there and I smile."

When life just keeps getting darker and darker... and then I saw things coming sharply into focus...

I write a lot of dark pieces and this is another one. It takes a lot to understand and connect with my poetry, but once you do it hits you pretty hard.
