Update August 2021

Hello, long time no update!

I realized that some folks may be coming back here checking in to see about the 3rd book. I'm actively working on it and anticipate publishing it on Amazon with the others soon, but I've learned from experience not to promise a date. I will post here immediately when it's available.

!IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! 07/28/2016

Hello all!

I apologize for the radio silence, but I didn't want to post an actual update until I had something to show for it! This section has been copied from the latest chapter update, which I wrote before the theft occurred, and it felt only fair to give it to you along with this announcement.

In case you missed the previous message, I've been dealing stolen content where The Crypt Under Shadow Avenue was being sold under someone else's name on Amazon. I've managed to resolve this with Amazon, and the fraudulent copies have been removed for the time being, but this will likely keep happening. My only real option is to actually sell this story on Amazon myself.

It wasn't the way I envisioned doing this, but I've been backed into a corner. If I put any more chapters here for free, I'm risking the story being stolen in its entirety and put elsewhere for sale. And if they challenged me then on my rights of ownership, it would require a lawyer to sort it out. Things could get scary for me. This is the best way for me to protect myself and my work, and although it's frustrating that someone had to spoil things for everyone else, there is at least a silver lining.

I've been working tirelessly over the past few months to edit and rewrite Shadow Avenue, not to mention finish the ending. Entire scenes have been added, removed, or altered in order to bring everything together, and I have beta readers currently combing it for errors. I figured if I had to put it up for sale, I had to make damn sure it was worth it for everyone.

Due to the length of this story (it was never designed as a novel and, even edited, is around 850 pages!), I've had to split it into 3 volumes. A lot of you have stuck with me for years and might just want the ending, in which case you have the option to just pick up the last volume when I publish it instead of all three. Though I can assure you, the first two will still have enough changes and additions to make it worth your while. In the past many of you have mentioned being interested in supporting this decade-long project, and this is your chance to do it!

As of now, TCUSA Volume 1 and 2 are available on Amazon.

Fictionpress has been so good to me over the years, and readers like you have kept me going through some really rough times in my life. All of you are the reason this story exists, that I ever made it this far, and I hope that you decide to support me and read the conclusion on Amazon. Even if you don't, or can't, I still appreciate you for sticking around this long and joining me on this journey.

Whatever happens, I am so grateful that you've enjoyed my work. If you leave questions in the reviews, I will do my best to answer them all.
