![]() Author has written 43 stories for Fantasy, Fantasy, General, Love, Life, Nature, Song, Play, and General. You may be bored - or you could simply be curious. Either way, welcome to this small space of mine. Perhaps you'll find something of interest. Poetry will appear as it is written. Most of it's in rhyme, though there are several free-verse experiments and acrostics mixed in. Some of it does tend to the lengthy side. Ware the Fae Folk is my experiment with a long, ballad-like story-poem. Be warned - it's long, and it's written in a more formal mode of English than many prefer to use, though I hope that I've used it correctly. In regards to the series of short stories - they're all in the same universe, and deal with the same two people in various situations. They do deal with somewhat darker themes but are still fairly mild, with an average rating of K (PG). Warning: these pieces were experimental! If you want to read them chronologically, they go as follows: Secrets Moonrise Sunset Sorrow Starlight Silence These have since been revised into the screenplay Margins. Feel free to perform or interpret it however you want, but please do not pass it off as your own, sell it, etc. Panegyric and Embers are short, stand-alone stories. I feel that they mark a bit of improvement over the years, though obviously critical reviews would still be fabulous. Propriety is a short story deliberately posted in small segments varying from 100 to around 2000 words. It is currently incomplete, and I doubt that it will ever reach a finished status. You may notice a collection called Dreamings. These are more-or-less pointless drabbles collected into one place. Feel free to suggest some sort of plot; failing that, if you see an idea you like, ask nicely before borrowing. Feel free to leave reviews! Feedback is any author's greatest tool in improving xir craft, and I'm certainly no exception. Criticism - even if it's harsh - is more than welcome, and if you don't feel comfortable with that, just a dropped line here or there will be received gladly. Sincerely, Casey |
