Author has written 14 stories for Romance, General, and Life. Check out my "writing journal" at . Alex J. Finn is a middle-class university student living in the Southern Hemisphere. Not too poor, not too rich, she enjoys writing as a pastime and enjoys reviews even more (so review, they make her feel visible). Her area of "expertise" is angsty lesbian lovage, although there may come a time when she decides to hop the fence and write normal lesbian/angsty straight (none of which are as lethal a combination as angsty lesbian, because there's just not enough coverage) stories. Alex indulges in a very wide range of music, is able to play the drums and is currently trying to learn guitar. Amongst others, her favourites to listen to are Death Cab For Cutie, Muse, Rock Kills Kid and We Are Scientists. Alex also is rather partial to pop, blues, jazz, house and various other forms of music but is not completely interested in gangster rap unless it's melodic. Current works: + The Untitled Series - A, uh, series of oneshots inspired by various things or nothing at all. Upcoming: + NFIA: National Federal Intelligence Agency (now tentatively retitled Battle Lines) - Kate is a trainee at the NFIA academy. Anna, a fellow trainee, is an ex-Air Force major with a chequered past (aren't they all). Evan is their young and brilliant team leader. When Lucy Tennant attacks the training base and captures Anna, the inexperienced and unprepared team get ready to rescue their own, while Kate has to deal with her new feelings (as they all do), and Evan is burdened with the guilt of being the supposed cause of Tennant's terrorism. Hopefully not as predictable as it sounds right now. + Frenetic (working title) - Cara Gallagher is 17. She's got a good life: family, friends, grades, wealth; all the things that might matter to a teenager. The only thing that never seems to go right is her love life, especially not when she meets Jordan. And then there's Tory, who wants her back, and Anna, who just might be struggling with the fact that she likes girls. This New Year is going to be interesting... |
