Since you're reading my "About Me" section, I'd assume you're either immeasurably bored, or you actually want to know something about me. One way or the other, I guess I'll tell you something about me--hence the title of this section as "About ME" not "About my dog" or "About that one bum I saw on the street yesterday".

By the way, I don't have a dog, so even if it DID say "About My Dog" it would be a very short explanation.

My name is Sars. Yes, like the disease. I'm a freshman in college, studying Physics. I'm a science nerd--a physics nerd, to be more precise. I write series of stories set in the fictional world of Fydine; usually my stories occur in threes--Except for II, which doesn't fit anywhere, chronologically, and will probably be re-written so that it actually makes sense, some day. I try to update regularly, but as I'm working on about three different strands at any given time it's not uncanny for me to go months without updating one or the other. Usually, though, that's due to me sitting on a chapter for weeks or months at a time because I'm not certain I liked how it turned out, rather than because I have writers block or am too busy to write anything.

Stories: (In order of publish-date)

Internal Illness: Finished. Fantasy, set in the world of Fydine; there's magic and such, but nothing incredibly out of the ordinary. Present-day time period. Random slide show of the main characters can be found here. On a different note, this story doesn't actually fit with the chronology of any of my others, because there was no time-line when I wrote it. It's a fun story and all that jazz, but if you've read the other stories it doesn't actually make any sense. If I were published, this would be AU fanfiction ''

Darkness Lurks (In Every Corner): Finished. Also set in the fantasy world of Fydine; some of the same characters as are in Internal Illness. Victorian time period. Basically it's about a boy with deadly-powerful magic, and a couple other problems hidden beneath the surface: the story of his schooling. Eventually to be followed by (hopefully) ...In Every Mind and ...In Every Heart.

Darkness Lurks (In Every Mind):

En Garde: Finished. About Mia from Internal Illness. Just a bit of background for before she went to school, and her home-life. Probably won't be too long, but it sorta explains why she is the way she is. XD

Touché: Finished Sequel to En Garde. Mia is enrolled in a new school to learn swordplay and Earth magic, but ends up learning much more about herself, her new friends, and a few enemies, as well as about Jinn. The decisions she makes in school will dictate just what happens afterward, and what she does with her life. Rated for language in later chapters.

Adrenaline Coffee: Nikki and her partner Devlin are detectives in East Fydine Department of Crime Investigation, faced with a series of unsolvable cases in their fantastical world. I haven't yet decided if this story will feature a single case, or multiple ones.

Check Mate: Sequel to Touche. Mia has left her foster father and her home behind in search of a new life and new adventures, acting as Jinn's research field agent. Her task is to seek out clans of werewolves in order to gather information about them for Jinn's research. Along her journey for Jinn's information, she discovers a little bit of her own, uncovering mysteries about her past, and learning more about herself than she ever thought she would know. Rated for possible language and violence in later chapters.

Eternal Illness: The Prophecy: If you're looking for a cannon series about Riggs, this is it. If you expect it to line up with Internal Illness, you're going to be confused. This is the story of Riggs as a child and young adult, how he met Saphrin, etc. Takes place significantly before all the other stories on the timeline.

About The World:
The following is a discription of the world used in all of my stories.
Fydine's geography is divided into two halves; the east side and the west side, with the Genji River as the dividing line between the two. The east side relies heavily on technology, and is very similar to earth, in that aspect; it shuns those with magical abilities, and only comes to accept them as being people towards the late 1600s.
The west side relies almost completely on magic; their technology is limited, but they do not need it. This side is scattered with schools to teach magic to youngsters, and it is not uncommon to meet children from the east side in such an academy, as they have none east of the Genji river.

Characters:

Rigarius "Riggs": DOB: 4 BKR (Before Kismet Reign, in other words, he's really freaking old). Race: unknown (to you, muaha). Place of residence: owns a cabin on the East side of the river, but spends most of his time at the West Fydine Boarding School. He makes an appearance in just about ever one of my stories/series as a physical arts teacher as WFBS; ends up married to Saphrin with one child, Silva. Swordplay, archery, stealth and agility, hand-to-hand, no magic. Appears in: II, DL (IEC), T, AC and CM.

Saphrin "Saph" Silvermoon: DOB: 9 BKR (even older than Riggs!). Race: Kismet (an anciet race of in-bred magic-users, who became powerful enough to leave Fydine in the year 0 AK (After Kismet), and effectively became the Gods that now govern Fydine). Place of Residence: Everywhere (seriously, she turns up everywhere). White magic. Appears in: II, DL, and T.

Tava (Doesn't actually have any other name): DOB 9BKR. Race: Shadowkin. Saphrin's twin sister (yes, it's complicated). Place of Residence: No where. Or everywhere. We're not quite sure. Black magic. Not my character: she belongs to Shadow of Hope.

Mia Lynar-Aevalin: DOB: 1868 AK. Race: Runewolf (the product of two werewolves; a half-wolf, half-human genetic breed). Place of Residence: WFBS and Kenai. The adopted daughter of Professor Jinn Aevalin. Character losely based on me. Swordplay, earth magic. Appears in: II, EG, T and CM.

Eva Rainve: DOB: 1868 AK. Race: half-Siren, half-kismet. Place of Residence: WFBS and Siren Islands. The illegitimate daughter of Volt, the God of Electricity--unbeknownst to his wife. She's the best friend of Mia, and the worst enemy of the entire WFBS staff; a worse trouble-maker than Mia. Losely based on one of my friends. Not my character: she belongs to Shadow of Hope. Archery, water and electricity magicks. Appears in: II, T and CM.

Teague (I'm-sure-she-has-a-last-name...): DOB 1868 AK. Race: human. Place of Residence: WFBS and Farathax. The timid, repressed daughter of an aggressive, fanatically religious priest; assimilated into Mia and Eva's trouble-group in 1881 when she was sent to WFBS by her father. Losely based on one of my friends. Stealth and Agility, dark magic. Appears in: II, T and CM.

Jason "Jays" (also-has-a-last-name): DOB: 1868 AK. Race: dopelganger; wolf-shift (a shape-shifter with the ability to shift into one other shape--a wolf). Place of Residence: WFBS and Blackthorn. The daughter of two fathers; an active yet somewhat absent-minded cookie-lover. Assimilated into Mia and Eva's trouble-group in 1881 when she was enrolled in WFBS. Losely based on one of my friends. Stealth and Agility, fire magic. Appears in: II, T and CM.

Jeremy "Jer" (I-totally-know-her-last-name): DOB: 1868 AK. Race: half-elf, half-human. Place of Residence: WFBS and Hatai. The boisterously loud daughter of an elf and a human. Assimilated into Mia and Eva's trouble-group in 1881 when she was enrolled in WFBS. Demuur's girlfriend. Losely based on one of my friends. Archery, dark magic. Appears in: II, T and CM.

Felix Gavin Ain: DOB: 1867 AK. Race: human. Place of Residence: WFBS, Naloma (East side). Sent across the river to WFBS to learn to control his magic at the most renowned multi-specialization school in Fydine; only student in Mia's crew from the east side. Hounded by Mia, but all in good fun. Assimilated into Mia's crew in 1884. Losely based on one of my friends. Sealth and Agility, blue magic. Appears in: II, T and CM.

Demuur: DOB: 1867 AK. Race: half-drow, half-human. Place of Residence: WFBS and Sha'ar. Lives in the community of dark-elves with his two full-drow siblings and his mother. Assimilated into Mia's crew in 1884. Jeremy's boyfriend. Not based on anyone! Hurray! '' Archery, dark magic. Appears in: II, T and CM.

Jinn Aevalin: DOB: 1835 AK. Race: human. Place of Residence: Kenai. Lycanologist, Mia's foster-father. Professor at Kenai University. Losely based on one of my teachers. Psi magic. Appears in: II (cameo), EG, T and CM.

Nikomis "Niko" Crimsongaze: DOB:1602 AK. Race: human. Place of Residence: wherever. Repressed child, grown up to become a cold, inhumane, power-hungry mage. Dark and psi magicks. Appears in: DL (IEC, IEM and IEH)

Salamander "Cal" Firetongue: DOB: 1600 AK. Race: human. Place of Residence: SCME (Solace Center for Magical Education), Blackthorn and WFBS. Fire magic. Appears in: II, DL (IEC, IEM, IEH) and T.
