My name is Alexandra and I am in love with the written word. My favourite authors are Tolkien, Oscar Wilde and Neil Gaiman.
I'm inspired by just about anything -- music, the weather, movies, other authors and day to day life. Music is probably the biggest influence though. I'm a big fan of the Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus, Dead Can Dance, The Cure, The Birthday Massacre and a whole hodge-podge of random music.
I'll write anything, but I especially love writing poetry, fantasy, fiction and fanfiction. I love 19th century poetry, and I'm currently reading Mythologies by W.B. Yeats. Aside from reading and writing, I love photography and art, and I am learning violin.
